RATES
All rates are for one or two people and include a fresh Continental breakfast! Rooms include semi-private bath. Additional persons beyond two are possible in some rooms, at a charge of $20 per person additional.
A FEW WORDS ON SERVICE CHARGES We've noticed that it seems to be a Vermont tradition to add "service charges" automatically to your bill. Take note of that when you book accommodations! You will see that lots of places list "Plus Vermont tax and (15 to 20%) Service charges. We think that's a way to increase your rates while still appearing less expensive. We don't believe in adding hidden charges! At Averill Stand, we add the appropriate tax to your bill. We NEVER add any "hidden charges"  If you decide to leave a gratuity for service, that's up to you! We think gratuities are a matter of personal choice, and we suspect that you do too!

Policies

  • Many places in Vermont add "surprise" service charges of 15 to 20 percent. We believe that the "service charge" you pay (We call it a tip!) is completely up to you!
  • Children over the age of 12 years are welcome
  • Small pets will be considered with advance notice and a non-refundable pet deposit
  • An outdoor porch is our designated smoking area.
  • Check in time is between 2:00PM and 10:00PM or other hours by arrangement. Please call if you will arrive after 9PM.
  • Check out time is 11:00AM (Noon for Deluxe Rooms)

RESERVATION DEPOSITS
We charge your first night's stay upon reservation, with the balance payable when you stay with us.

CANCELLATION POLICY
30 Days or More: Full Refund of Deposit minus $35 cancellation fee.
15 to 29 Days: Your deposit may be applied toward a stay at Averill Stand pending availability) within one year.
14 Days or Less: One night’s charges will be forfeited from deposit for Averill Stand rooms.

WEDDINGS & CIVIL UNIONS
        We put a good deal of thought and planning and resources into the small, personal events we create here. Thus, the policies are a little different because they are planned generally far in advance. A 25 percent deposit is required to hold your function date and rooms. At 60 days prior to your event, we ask you to bring your deposit to 50 percent, and to 75 percent at 30 days. The final 25 percent of the estimated total is due at check-in.
        With 60 days or more notice, your event and reservation is completely cancelable, minus a $35 cancellation charge per room. At 31 to 59 days prior to your event, the event is cancelable, but you will forfeit 25 percent of your estimated total. From 15 to 30 days prior, you are responsible for 75 percent of the estimated cost. At 14 days or less prior to the first night of your reservation, your reservation is non-cancelable and non-refundable.
