Averill Stand - The Gateway to Wilmington

2010-02-16 - For 200 years, the Averill Stand has stood at the gateway to the village of Wilmington. Thanks to its location at the junction of Vermont Routes 100 and 9, the Averill Stand has hosted guests off and on throughout its history. Once a stagecoach stop and an Underground Railroad "station," current owners Bob Pelosi and Jim Follet are returning the historic Federal style farmhouse to its original glory. The Averill stand offers a glimpse of what life was like over 200 years ago.
